Program
The ideal season for ski tours above the polar circle is between Frebruary and April.
Day 1
Flight from Zurich to Tromsø via Oslo followed by transfer in hired car. The journey to Lyngseidet where we will be staying is about 2 ½ hours. Our host Jim’s house offers all we need. WLAN and washing machine are available for free. The fully equiped kitchen allows us to cook. There are decent shopping possibilites in the village and a bar on top.
Day 2 – 12
Now we have the agony of choice:
Where shall we go ?
There are fantastic tours right on our doorstep. If the weather conditions round Lyngseidet are not ideal, we will change on to the western fjord side by ferry. There will be a good dozen of summits. Often we will be able to ski down to the sea.
Day 13
Transfer to Tromsø airport and return flight.

For 2022 there is one trip from 05.-13.03.2022 already fully booked. Before and after still possibilities.
Costs
3750 CHF per person in a group of six. Prices for flights and hired car can vary depending on the moment of reservation.
Price includes
- Local mountain guide J (including expenses)
- Flight Zurich-Tromsø-Zurich (including all fees)
- Lugagge 23kg/person plus 1 hand luggage 8kg plus 1 ski bag
- Hired car in Norway
- 9 overnight stays

Insurance
Participants have their own insurance. An insurance for annulation is recommended.
Physical Inquiries
Ascents of 4 – 6 hours with light daypack.
Technical Inquiries
Certain tours lead through a glacier where we will be with safety belts. Some summits are not reachable by skis. They will be climbed by crampons from a ski depot.
